안식향산나트륨을 아세요?

방부제라고 하네요. 왠만한 드링크에는 다 들어 있는 것 같던데...

안식향이라고 해서

저는 안식을 주는 향료라는 생각을 했었는데,

무식해서 용감했다는 생각을 합니다

 

It is known to a kind of preservatives (preservative is a substance added to a food to keep it from spoiling; preventing decay etc).

 

It was included into many TONICs, so-called Korean 'Drink'.

From the word "An-Sik-Hyang-San-Na-T-Rium" which is a chemical component of many Korean tonics, I thought "An-Sik-Hyang" meant 'some smell to give relaxation and meditation.'

But, it is not a relaxant but a preservative.

 

I could be brave because I was too much ignorant about information on food.
